After 40 minutes of play, the Clarenville Caribous and Conception Bay North CeeBee Stars are tied 2-2 in Game 4 of the Telegram Herder Memorial Trophy Championship Series at Mile One Centre in St. John's.

After being outshot 11-3 in the first 10 minutes, the CeeBees' Mark Tobin was sprung on a partial break but wasn't able to get around the Caribous' defender. Tobin was spun around but ended up with the puck on his stick and fed Matthew Thomey who snapped a shot past Clarenville crease-keeper Jason Churchill.

Shots were 21-7 in favour of the Caribous in the middlem frame and now stand at 32-27 overall, again, in favour of the Herd.

Theteams will start the third period playing four-on-four as Thomey was nabbed for hooking Ryan Penney with 12 seconds to play. Penney, however, was called for the dive and assessed a minor for unsportsmanlike conduct.
