The Cats took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven provincial senior hockey championship with a decisive 8-2 win over the Eastlink CeeBee Stars in Game 3 Friday at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium in Grand Falls-Windsor.

The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts came out flying in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Joe jumping out to a 3-0 first period-lead on goals from Mike Sibley, Chad Earle and Cody Roach.
