St. John's scored in second to knot the game

St. John's Pennecon Privateers captain Marcus Power scored on a five-on-three power play in the second period to tie the game at 2-2 after two.

The Privateers will start the third on the powerplay after Stavros Mandrapilias was slapped with two minutes and a 10 minute misconduct for checking to the head.

Shots were 13-7 in favour of the Privateers in the frame. London are outshoot St. John's 23-22 overall.

    Excellent game. I thought they concentrated a bit too much on hitting the other guy but they are young. Ontario ... leave the ref alone. You are not going to win if you p%$s off the ref. I thought he missed a few calls but the ones he did make were good ones. Do you really think he will change his mind after he makes a call??
