IceCaps lead 1-0 after one period

The St. John's IceCaps lead the Providence Bruins 1-0 after one period of play at Mile One. Shawn Weller had the goal, scoring his eighth of the season on a power play.
Shots on goal are 12-11 in favour of St. John's
As was the case Tuesday night, when St. John's won 2-0, this game isn't a barn-burner, but considering the state of the IceCaps's roster, St. John's fans may be just happy that their team is ahead.
