Good evening from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where the St. John's IceCaps can advance past the second round of the American Hockey League's Calder Cup playoffs with a win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight.

The IceCaps lead the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal 3-1. Game time tonight is 8:35 p.m. NT, with Brian Rogers' pre-game show on CJYQ 930AM and online beginning approximately a half hour earlier.

St. John's is coming off back-to-back weekend overtime wins at the Mohegan Sun Arena, but there looks like there will be a lineup change for the IceCaps. Defenceman Atrurs Kulda was injured in the third period of Sunday's 3-2 overtime victory and left the ice limping. He made the briefest of appearances in Tuesday's morning skate, stepping onto the ice and returning to the dressing room seconds later. He's not out for the warmup skate, so expect Jason DeSantis to return to the lineup.

For the Penguins, there are no changes.

By the way, the attached picture shows how St. John's defenceman Paul Postma and assistant equipment manager Shannon Coady stacked the pucks that will be used in the IceCaps' warm-up skate. The message says it all.
