    he has got to be very disappointed to be going back to Montreal. the shaft they gave him was ridiculous. he hasn't forgot that im sure even though its a new regime. going to be hard for him to play with heart. i think Montreal will shortly crash as their team is way to small.when it gets down to the crunch those small players wont see the puck. enjoy them while you can.

    He's certainly a proven goal scorer. He requires lots of ice time to put up the numbers he had last year. There's also more presssure playing in Montreal. Interesting to see how things work out.

    Not good... The Habs will limit his play as they did in the past. Ryder will not flourish there.

      Disagree with your comment. The Habs need a sniper to play with pacioretty and Desharnais on their first line. It's actually a sweet deal for a guy like Ryder who's in his last year of a contract. Desharnais is a superb playmaker but not a scorer.
