A polar bear has been sighted on a woods road about one kilometre south of the St. Lunaire-Griquet intersection on Route 430 on the Northern Peninsula.
The bear was observed by snowmobilers this morning.
RCMP say it is unknown whether the bear is the same one sighted in the Milan Arm area over the last week.
The RCMP encourages the general public to exercise extreme caution and be alert during outdoor activities.
