The aerial search for a missing skier in the Mud Lake area of the Churchill River in Labrador has been suspended, but search and rescue members continue to search for the man on land and on the water.
Leon Feltham, 37, went cross-country skiing in the area at about 1 p.m. Monday. He was supposed to return a few hours later. Since then, search teams have scoured the area and a helicopter from 5 Wing Goose Bay has surveyed an area of about 300 square kilometres looking for him.
The RCMP is continuing its investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Happy Valley-Goose Bay detachment.
