Not cool to be in the pool after dark, RNC warns

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is stepping up patrols of Margaret Bowater Park in Corner Brook after reports the park's pool is being used after the 10 p.m. closing of the park.
The RNC warns the use of the pool during the dark hours is a dangerous practice as there are no lifeguards on duty and vision of the bottom, or items floating in the pool, is limited. This could lead to serious personal injury.
Officers in Corner Brook will be checking the pool regularly during their patrols.
