One dead in motorcycle accident

A motorcyclist is dead following an accident on Old Broad Cove Road in Portugal Cove-St. Philips this afternoon.
The Honda touring bike was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
It's not yet known who the victim was, but an investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident.
More updates will be posted as information becomes available.
