Mile One Centre - St. John's - The Clarenville Caribous put the finishing touches on an 8-2 win with a third period goal from Mark Chaplin to claim Game 1 of the Telegram Herder Memorial Championships Saturday night before a packed house at Mile One in St. John's.

Matthew Thomey scored a shorthanded marker for the CeeBees.

    Guys ... you failed to give this adequate coverage all year and now period by period coverage. Just tell me who won the game and how both teams will respond. Overkill sports coverage here.
