RCMP said today the province's Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed a body found Sunday in the waters off the north side of Bell Island is that of a 39-year-old man who went missing on June 1 while boating.
The RCMP says that foul play is not suspected and the case remains under investigation by the Bell Island RCMP.
The body is being released to the family today for burial.
On June 1, an overturned boat was located off Bell Island and two males were reported missing. One body was recovered at that time. The body found last week is that of the second man.
