RCMP have released the name of the Bell Island boater who went missing and whose body was found Sunday in the waters off the north side of Bell Island.
Michael Joseph Whalen, 39, went missing on June 1 while boating. On that day, an overturned boat was located off Bell Island and two males were reported missing. One body was recovered at that time.
Whalen's body had been missing until Sunday.
