Newfoundland and Labrador's men's rugby team have won the second medal for this province in this year's Canada Games in Prince Edward Island.
The province's team, beat Alberta by a score of 29 to 17 to win a bronze medal today.
The third place finish matches the outcome of the women's rowing team earlier this week, which broke Newfoundland and Labrador's medal drought.

I am very disappointed in the Telegrams coverage of our Rugby teams preformance during Canada Games. The team won bronze for our province and in the four lines that the telegram gave them one if not two lines were about our Provinces overall preformance. The boys came to the games with a heavy hearts but they carried on and put everything they had into the games. These boys showed their pride for our province by standingside by side and singing the Ode to Newfoundland before the game started. This said more about their pride and commitement to our province and their sport than the Telegram could ever say.
