Update: Water Street fire again out of control

More than five hours into the fight and a fire on Water Street is again out of control.

Flames can be seen shooting out through windows on the third floor of the two buildings most affected by the fire.

Unsubstantiated information provided to The Telegram suggests that several propane tanks on the building's property have exploded, creating the surge in fire. Five water lines are still pumping at full capacity through the windows of the building at the stubborn fire.

The crowd of onlookers on Water Street seems to be shrinking even though the fire shows no sign of letting up.

The fire is believed to have started in Pasta Plus' new location on Water Street just after 5 p.m.
