Emergency personnel responded to an accident near Paddy's Pond this afternoon.

Two people were injured after a vehicle overturned.

Traffic is backed up approximately two kilometres, as only one lane is open on the Trans-Canada Highway

The cause of the accident was not immediately known, but it was raining, and the road was wet.

A wet road in the rain? Really! br Bloody highyway workers should be out there with industrial size rolls of Bounty on such days. After all, it's not fair to have to ask drivers to slow down in the rain.
