Hawkins wins Grand Falls-Windsor

Allan Hawkins is the new mayor of Grand Falls-Windsor.

Final results of the mayoral race are as follows:

Beve Butler, 1488; Jim Courtney, 1381; Al Hawkins, 1991; Don Pelley, 655.

Anne Blackmore is the new deputy mayor. She is joined on council by incumbents Roger Barnett and Darren Finn, with newcomers Amy Coady-Davis, Jean Buffett-Mercer, and Bruce Moores rounding out the group.
