Men charged in street-racing incident that caused woman's death back in court

Two men charged after a street-racing incident that resulted in the death of a 71-year-old Boyd's Cove woman were in provincial court in Gander today.
Police say the two men were racing in separate vehicles when they hit the woman's car and forced it off the road on the Reach Run Causeway.
The vehicle was overturned in the water and she was found dead inside.
Ryan Watkins of Summerford is charged with criminal negligence causing death, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, impaired driving causing death, and other offences.
He'll remain in custody until his next court appearance Nov. 10.
The charges against Richard Glibbery of Boyd's Cove include criminal negligence causing death, dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident knowing there has been bodily harm.
Glibbery is not in custody and will also be back in court Nov. 10.
