Johnson Inc. named among 10 best companies to work for in Canada

Johnson Inc. has been named one of the Financial Post's Ten Best Companies to Work For in Canada, as well as one of the Top Employers in Atlantic Canada for 2010.
Ken Bennett, president the Newfoundland-based Johnson Inc., said the recognition is a great achievement.
"Our success is a direct result of our unique entrepreneurial culture, strong customer focus and continued commitment to employee engagement," Bennett said.
According to a news release, Johnson Inc. is part of the global RSA group. As part of RSA, Johnson says it is able to leverage human resources best practices, and combine them with its entrepreneurial culture and customer focus.
The Financial Post's Ten Best Companies to Work For competition is organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers.
The special designation recognizes fast-growing companies in Canada that offer career advancement opportunities together with leading-edge employee benefits.
With origins dating back to 1880, Johnson Inc. is one of the oldest providers of insurance and benefits in Canada. Headquartered in St. John's, Johnson Inc. has over 1,200 employees in more than 65 locations across the country.
