Pulling Back Flips, Super Flips, Superman Seat Grabs, Whips and other specialty moves; freestyle BMX, motocross and snowcross riders are intending to wow the crowd at Mile One Feb. 13.
"A guaranteed highlight of the night will be to witness a 400- pound snowmobile back flipping 40 feet in the air - a sight that needs to be seen to be believed," stated a promotional release on the event.
The displays of aerial stunts will be matched in the show with speed races as part of the Coors Light Fire & Ice Extreme Action Sports: Evolution Tour.
The tour has made stops in multiple provinces including Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. The website for the tour includes profiles and videos from riders who have participated.
The event in St. John's is being sponsored by the new Hickman Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership in St. John's.
Tickets range from $10 to $30 plus taxes and surcharge. That includes a pre-show meet and greet with the riders at 6 p.m.
The show is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
