Rescuers making third attempt at rescuing Inuit hunter stranded on ice floe

Search-and-rescue aircraft were planning to make a third attempt to pluck an Inuit hunter stranded on an ice floe in the Northwest Passage.
A howling Arctic blizzard forced the cancellation of Sunday's attempt to rescue David Idlout, who has been floating out to sea since Friday.
Idlout was hunting near the edge of the sea ice when a large chunk broke off.
He was able to contact his wife in Resolute, Nunavut, by satellite phone, and aircraft were dropping him supplies.
Idlout was described as tired but in good condition, and officials were hoping to get him off the ice today.
