The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating missing person Wayne Peacock.
At about 6 p.m. Monday, the RNC responded to a report of a missing person. Wayne Peacock, a resident of the Topsail area, was last seen at his residence at 7 a.m. Monday. Peacock's vehicle, a red mazda pick-up, was later located at Topsail Beach.
A search and rescue operation has been underway since the initial report.
The RNC's Criminal Investigation Division is continuing the search, with the assistance of RNC Patrol Services and K9 Unit, Rovers Search and Rescue, the Canadian Coast Guard and a helicopter.
Peacock is described as approximately 5' 10" tall, 170 lbs with balding grey hair and hazel eyes. When last seen he was wearing dark workout pants and possibly a black and khaki green windbreaker jacket.
The RNC is continuing its nvestigation and is seeking the assistance of the general public.
