If you Bay crowd would get yor head out of your arse, you'd realize that it is no different here than it is anywhere in the rest of the world. If you don't live in the area where the event is taking place....TOUGH. It must suck to be so close to the action but afraid to come to St. John's because of the 4 lane traffic and stop lights.

And I'm from the Bay...so don't dare call me a townie.

Actually, none of these people paid anything for their tickets. They WON them through different sources. Also, it costs nothing to go down to the Village Mall on Saturday and see the artists and honestly you have a very good chance at meeting them or getting their autographs too.

What about people who live outside of the Avalon who would love to come in for Saturday afternoon. They couldn't be here for Wednesday to get their wristband so because they don't live on the Avalon, once again, the are SOL ! Doesn't seem fair.

The entire Juno Joke should be free from the get go. Do the general public not pay these so called artist enough when they are forced to purchase the garbage they peddle? Now the industry wants even more to pay for their private party to honour not the consumers that pay them, but themselves.

Disgusting to say the least.. They are ripping off the people that supported them all the way to the bank.

No wonder a few Canadian artist boycott this fiasco. At least they know the truth.

Real Musicians wouldn't make fans pay for an autograph. Take Zakk Wylde from Black Label Society, Pride and Joy, Ozzy Osbourne. He was kicked out of the FYE tents at ozzfest for signing autographs even when they either never purchased anything from the FYE booth or they brought along a CD they bought elsewhere. His argument was that it was his music and his fans and if the FYE guys want to use him to make them some money from his own hard work then thats one thing but to get between him and his fans because of some issue where the FYE booth wouldnt get money was too far.

If these artists really cared about the people that support them, they would be signing autographs free of charge and they'ed be doing it free of charge directly adjacent to where people were being charged for it.

Its not about money, record sales or fame its about the music and appreciating the people who share the same love for music as you do. With that being said, there aint nothin worth listinin to at the junos but thats just my oppinion and not my type of music

    Poor Excuse

Surely if the public are too stupid not to purchase garbage they peddle , they deserve to be milked like the brainless cattle they are?

Do often work hard to make some money so that you spend it on music you hate?

From what I heard Fan Fare tickets are free. You just need a wristband to be able to get in, which you don't have to pay for...so I don't know what you are all complaining about. I think this is a great chance for us living in St. John's to see these artists who probably would not be coming here if not for the JUNOS.
I waited in the lines to get my wristband to meet the Arkells and I am very excited!!
