And the City of St. John's invested $300,000. The Juno Awards received $250,000 and the George Street Party $50,000
Do not know if this gains a speaking engagement for the Mayor. -

Maybe all that schmoozing at the Junos will put Williams in a better mood and , this will greatly benefit relations with the NLMA .........

This is the stuff that Little Man Dan does to feed his ego...photo opps...light stuff. He simply won't let the hard working staffers and volunteers get the much deserved credit. He has to be in the limelight; same thing with the Olympics. Grab the spotlight Dan and take the credit away from those who organized the event and worked delligently to bring it to fruition.

Over a million dollars for a party?
Good to see all of our health and unemployment issues have been fixxed!
This must be the long awaited Have Province party the Premier was talking about a year ago.
Yup, we are a Have province when we can spend a million dollars on a party for outsiders. -

Enjoy the party. -

I think that it's fantastic that the Juno's will represent the epi-center of the Newfoundland music scene. The excitement of George Street will surely show how the Newfoundland people like to celebrate their culture!!

If the fog fails to lift Danny will be sitting by himself. Today's photo session at the Delta was just scrubbed due to people not being able to get into the airport. Maybe they can get Danny to send a boat to pick them up in NS so they can make it. Going to be pretty bad if the stupid fog keeps the lid on thing too much.
