Producers with TVtropolis and Lone Eagle Entertainment have begun to search for contestants for a Canadian version of the international television program "Wipeout." The show features the contestants running through a challenging obstacle course in the hopes of winning a cash prize.
The show will be hosted by Jonathan Torrens, Ennis Esmer and Jessica Phillips. The cash prize for the show in Canada has been set at $50,000.
Anyone interested in giving the run - usually complete with mud, traps and contraptions - a try, can complete the application form available at: www.wipeoutcanada.com. Applications must be entered by the end of Canada Day.
Twenty contestants are to be selected for 13 episodes. "Wipeout: Canada" is slated to premiere on TVtropolis is spring 2011.

Okay people... some suggestions on who contestants should be? Of course, Danny Williams, Lorraine Michael and Yvonne Jones (if they can find helmets big enough for them). Possibly Earl McCurdy - would get a mouthful or two of muck. Certain individuals involved in the constituancy allowance scandal... tho they've already dragged themselves and their families thru the muck... other suggestions???

My husband and myself watch this show all the time! It is absolutely hilarious! I wish I was younger and had the energy to try it.
