I'm not a fan of either team that made it to the finals, but I've got to say they both played excallently. But I was hoping that Chicago would win it mainly because I was sore about the Flyers taking out Montreal.

The winning goal... in my opinion, was the quietedt goal in history. good game for the hawks though.

Have to agree with Mark. Am and always a Canucks fan but the series between the Hawks and Flyers was some of the most entertaining / high caliper hockey I have seen in my 75 years.

    George
You're nuts!!!!!!!! I would have loved to be there to see you when you came in. I told you earlier that you were crazy if you thought the Hawks would win but I was wrong (not on the crazy part; just on the Hawks winning). Congratulations buddy; it's been a long time coming.

Hey, Victoria, perhaps there are no names on that cup because it's not really the Stanley Cup. Perhaps it's the cup for the Telegram's Finance Dept. and it has yet to be awarded to a winning team. Perhaps George made the cup out of rolls of Alcan tinfoil. Perhaps --- whatever.

You, me and Herman Spurrell, and Geraldine Normore.
We've been waiting a long time for this win. Wear the jersey proudly, good buddy.
