Hendrick Motorsports No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet race car, driven by four-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon, will be on display Saturday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac Dealer in St. John's.
The appearance will be part of the 15th annual Classic Cars Show at Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac at 85 Kenmount Rd.
According to a news release, DuPont, the leader in innovative technologies, showcases this powerful Firestorm design which utilizes DuPont's latest undercoat and most productive clearcoat, and features "brilliant and exciting colours" making the Firestorm Chevy Impala one of the most recognized and celebrated paint schemes in NASCAR today.
Gordon's stellar performance has included four NASCAR championships, 82 victories in more than 500 starts, four Brickyard victories, 10 road course wins and three Daytona 500 victories making him one of NASCAR'S most distinguished front-runners of the modern era.
