The only question now is where that last game will be played — either St. John’s or Calgary.
And that will be determined Sept. 4 in St. John’s when The Rock and Prairie Wolf Pack bring their 2-0 records to the Swilers Complex. A win by the home side will result in a rematch in the league final Sept. 18. A Rock loss means the title game will be staged in Alberta.
The Rock, the Atlantic Canadian representative in the CRC, put together a solid second half to beat B.C. Saturday at Klahanie Park in West Vancouver. The Rock trailed B.C. 12-11 at the half.
“Our forwards dominated in the second half,” said Rock coach Pat Parfrey, “and took control of the game.”
Following a first-half try by Ken Goodland and three points from kicker Dean Blanks, The Rock scored 24 unanswered second-half points. Ben Trevorrow and Ciaran Hearn scored tries and Blanks made a conversion and four penalty kicks.

“B.C. really didn’t get a look in the second half where our defensive play was extremely strong,” Parfrey said.
B.C., which won the CRC last season, is winless in two games and have yet to score a try. The Rock opened the CRC campaign with a 33-0 win over the Ontario Blues at Swilers.
