A dry spell has led to a water shortage in Stephenville, Newfoundland.
The town's mayor is asking residents to stop watering their lawns and washing their vehicles until the problem is resolved.
The shortage also means residents shouldn't be filling up swimming pools.
Mayor Tom O'Brien says more water is being consumed than the town is able to produce.
