Provincial Finance Minister Tom Marshall announced today he will begin public consultations in the province Jan. 15 to gather input on priorities for Budget 2010.
"These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for the public to directly inform government as we prepare to deliver Budget 2010," Marshall said.
"Through these meetings, we hear about local issues and what the residents of the province would like to see for the future of our province. It is also an opportunity for our government to identify the challenges and opportunities we face as we continue to emerge from the financial uncertainty experienced globally."
