The temperature in the Avalon Peninsula area today is remaining steady near 0 C, according to Environment Canada.
For Saturday, the forecast calls for cloudy skies with a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the morning and early in the afternoon. Periods of light snow beginning in the afternoon with the wind becoming east 20 km/h in the morning then north 30 gusting to 50 late in the day. High minus 1.
