The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association (NLVA) for the first time in history will be running VolleyFest in January.
After the cancellation of VolleyFest in October due to H1N1, the NLVA thought that there would be a drop in registration. Now in January, VolleyFest will have a record 164 teams competing in 11 divisions.
VolleyFest 2010 is the largest school-based tournament in Canada.
The tournament will take place on 30 courts in St. John's, Mount Pearl and Conception Bay South with the primary venue in the NL Sports Centre that will have six courts in action.
