Conference hopes to spring ideas to grow horticulture industry

Horticulture producers in the province are meeting with industry experts in Gander this week during a two-day conference designed to assist them to grow their businesses.
The meeting, Horticulture: Planning Today - Growing Tomorrow, focuses on industry opportunities, research and development initiatives and new marketing trends.
The conference is being offered through the Newfoundland and Labrador Horticulture Producers Council, with funding provided by the governments of Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador under the Growing Forward Agreement.

    Horticulture is alive and well across Canada and here in Newfoundland. What we need are laws that protect people from the police stealing their crops and imprisoning them in this phony war on drugs. The culture of cannabis trumps all other horticultural crops.

    Wanna put money into these farmers hands? legalize the spice they want to grow the most.
