Boating victims name released

RCMP have identified 57-year-old Aubrey Matterface as the man who died Sunday morning after falling overboard from a longliner near Fortune.
According to police, an autopsy was scheduled to take place today in Clarenville and results will be released when they become available.
The Burin Peninsula RCMP and Occupational Health and Safety Division are still investigating the incident.
The man was brought to Grand Bank hospital after falling overboard while travelling on a longliner to Fortune around 5:40 a.m. Sunday.
He was removed from the water by the vessel crew and was pronounced dead at the Grand Bank hospital.
