The search for a missing West St. Modeste man is continuing today.
The 37-year-old was reported missing late Saturday afternoon.
He had been on a snowmobile and was last seen in Pinware around 1 a.m.
According to the Mounties, a single snowmobile track was located in West St. Modeste.
It went straight down a hill and to the edge of the shore, where it disappeared.
At the end of the track is a drop of approximately two metres into the open ocean.
With the help of local fishermen, a couple of boats were used to search the area and the man's snowmobile was located and recovered in water close to the shoreline.
Today, the Mounties are being assisted by DFO, Canadian Rangers, local volunteers, and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team.
An EMO helicopter was unsuccessful in locating the man from an aerial search, and divers are preparing to search the waters.
