• "Paint the Town Blue," a six-city Atlantic speaking tour on water issues, will visit St. John's 7 p.m. at The Lantern, 35 Barnes Rd. The tour will show how local communities can become Blue Communities by promoting publicly financed, owned and operated water and wastewater services, resisting public-private partnerships, recognizing and promoting water as a human right at the local level, and banning the sale of bottled water in public facilities and at municipal events.
