Demolition of New Gower buildings

Several buildings on at the intersection of New Gower and Waldegrave Streets in St. John’s were demolished on Saturday. They were obtained by the city several months ago and have been slated for destruction to make way for an expansion to The St. John's Convention Centre. The Telegram's Gerry Carew managed to get a few shots of demolition.
