Singer/songwriter Larry Foley stopped by The Telegram studio this week to talk about his new East Coast Music Award-nominated album, "Free and Easy: Songs From Newfoundland, Ireland and the Sea." The title track on the record is a version of country icon Steve Earle's "Gulf of Mexico" — which Foley says is surprising relevant to Newfoundland and Labrador. He explains, and performs the song here; see full story in the Weekend Telegram.

Way to go Larry. You are great. I'm proud to say I'm from Placentia and we have such talented musicians like you and many others.

yawn. Only in such a small 'arts' community as Sin Jawns could Larry Foley keep getting so much press.

The Ron Burton ad was more enjoyable than the song. No offence!
