Corporate Research Associates will be sold at the end of this year to three members of the senior management team.

In a statement released today, it was announced current president and chief operating officer Margaret Brigley, vice-president Margaret Chapman and executive vice-president Peter MacIntosh will be purchasing.

Brigley will become the next CEO, taking over that role from company founder Don Mills.

Mills will become chairman of the board of directors and senior counsel following the sale.

“It has always been my preferred option to have the company owned by those who helped me build it and to continue to be owned by Atlantic Canadians,” Mills said in the statement.

Corporate Research Associates employs 30 research professionals based in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ottawa, Bermuda, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
