Gas prices dip slightly; diesel up in Labrador, down in Newfoundland

Maximum gas prices took a slight dip Thursday morning in Newfoundland and Labrador, according to the Public Utilities Board.

The PUB says gas prices decreased by up to 0.6 cents per litre.

Diesel prices rose in Labrador by up to 0.3 cents per litre, and decreased on the island by up to 2.1 cents per litre.

Furnace oil and stove oil heating fuel both decreased by 1.76 cents per litre, and propane heating fuel increased by 2 cents per litre.

The next price change is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 31.
