The ovens at Panago in Mount Pearl are gone cold right now, but they’ll be fired up again early this fall.
A spokesperson from the British Columbia-based pizza chain said that the store is temporarily closed while a new franchisee takes over for Caroline Andrews, who launched the Commonwealth Court location about four years ago but recently opted to sell for undisclosed reasons.
The spokesperson said while they’d prefer not to have closed at all, they’re confident that the location remains viable and that the new owners will be ready to serve up some fresh pies in the coming months.
Andrews noted on Facebook that any existing coupons, gift certificates or gift cards will be honoured when they reopen.
“My sincere appreciation for all the love and support from family, friends, employees and customers over the past (four) years,” Andrews wrote.
