St. John’s-based TriNav Group of Companies, which includes Navigtor Publishing and the Navigator Magazine, has acquired the Atlantic Boating Magazine, and Atlantic Fisherman from Advocate Media Incorporated.
In a statement announcing the acquisitions, TriNav director Trevor Decker says the magazines will help complement the company’s pleasure and commercial fishing boat sales.
“Both Atlantic Boating and Atlantic Fisherman have always been recognized and respected as excellent marine industry publications in Atlantic Canada,” he stated.
Other TriNav interests include TriNav Marine Brokerage, Athearn Marine Brokerage, TriNav Marine Design, TriNav Fisheries Consultants, Marine Services International, Ocean Yacht Sales, Sealand Insurance and Four Ports Capital.
