Family, friends and other supporters of the Superior Bidet brothers will have to wait another week to find out how they fared in their appearance on the reality show “Dragons’ Den.”
Ed Barrett, a native of Goulds who partnered with his stepbrothers in a company that manufacturers and sells an attachment that turns a regular toilet into a bidet, says CBC officials informed him that the episode in which they were featured would air on Thursday, Jan. 18.
It didn’t.
“I woke up this morning to 65 text messages saying, ‘Dude, what the hell, we had to rearrange schedules to watch this,’” Barrett says.
“I didn’t think this was ever going to happen with a company this big. I figured they had already crossed their T’s and dotted their I’s.”
A clip of their appearance did air — one of Barrett drinking water shooting from the bidet — but only as a plug for next week’s episode.
Barrett says he was so focused and prepared when they were filming the segment that, other than to say it went well, he can’t remember how it all went down.
“I’m just as excited to see this as anyone else,” he said with a laugh.
The show will air at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25.
