Whink headed to Churchill Square

Property management company Martek says commercial tenants should able to return to the Churchill Square complex later this fall, with residential properties to follow in early 2018. The building was extensively damaged during March’s windstorm and the owners decided to go back to studs and rebuild the structure.

After eight years in downtown St. John’s, Whink is moving up town to Churchill Square later this year.

The boutique store will continue to offer a selection of jewelry, art, giftware, collectibles and bridal accessories, but will do so in a larger space that is fully accessible with ramps and elevators, and with ample parking.

“Churchill Square itself is buzzing with exciting changes, and Whink is thrilled to be a part of its next chapter,” owner Kim Paddon stated in a news release.
“Our expansion means you’ll be able to find and pursue even more of the art, jewelry and things you trust us to carry — in a larger, fully accessible new home.”

The move is expected to take place in late summer or early fall. More information can be found on the company’s social media channels once it becomes available.
