Community Heroes: Families raise awareness about autism

The Families Raising Autism Awareness group from the Southern Shore visited the Elaine Dobbin Centre in St. John’s May 5 to make a donation to Autism Society NL. The group held a dance and hockey tournament, and sold tickets on a huge gift basket. They collected a total of $24,163 to support programs and services at the centre.
