The Clarenville RCMP held an extremely successful barbecue and bake sale on Saturday, June 14 in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Clarenville in aid of the Moncton Fallen RCMP Members Fund. The grand total for the fundraiser was more than $14,000. The Clarenville Detachment would like to thank the local business community for their support as well as those who dropped off baked goods and donations and those who stopped by to offer their kind words of support and appreciation. Without all of you this event would not have been a huge success. All funds raised will be sent to the Moncton Fallen RCMP Members Fund to help the families of the fallen RCMP members who were tragically killed on June 4. — Submitted photos
