Woman in hospital after striking moose on TCH near Paradise

Paradise, N.L. — A woman involved in a moose-vehicle accident early this (Saturday) morning was brought to hospital after she struck the moose in the eastbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway near Paradise.

She was the lone occupant of the vehicle, which was heavily damaged in the incident just after 3 a.m.
The seriousness of her injuries is not known.
