Community Heroes: Stella Maris bakes up a storm for the Janeway


Stella Maris Academy recently held a Janeway Happy Day inspired by a story being read teacher Melanie Power regarding the wants and needs of others. Students decided they wanted to do something nice to help others and came up with the idea of a bake sale.

Stella Maris Academy recently held a Janeway Happy Day inspired by a story being read teacher Melanie Power regarding the wants and needs of others. Students decided they wanted to do something nice to help others and came up with the idea of a bake sale.

Grade 2 student Chloe Molloy suggested all the proceeds go to the Janeway children. Stella Maris wants to thank all students, parents and friends who supported this worthwhile fundraiser, which raised a total of $265 for the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
