RNC investigating armed robbery with broomstick

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an armed robbery at Mr. Sub on Ropewalk Lane about 10:40 p.m. Sunday.
Two males armed with a broomstick entered the business demanding money. The male employee was struck on the arm with the stick during the incident but scared off the suspects when he picked up a knife.
The suspects ran from the store without getting any money.
The suspects were about 19 years old and both were wearing hoodies that were pulled up over their heads to conceal their faces.
One male was wearing a white hoodie, red baseball cap and white/silverish running pants. The second male was wearing a navy blue hoodie.
