• This is World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. A candlelight (battery operated) vigil will be held 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s City Hall. • The Single Parent Association of Newfoundland (SPAN) has been supporting single parent families for the past 21 years. One of the many services that is provided is the Christmas Support Program. This year 300 low-income families will register for help at Christmas.
